呉れる (kureru) - to give, to do for someone, to be given (honorific)


--- Examples ---
彼女は、「これを　洗って　くれないか　い」と　いった。
She said, 'Please wash this for me.'

私の先生は　私に　本を読むためにを　くれました。　　
My teacher gave me a book to read tonight.


The word Kuru has 2 options ( depends on the politeness level I'd like to
use: Kudasaru which is the high and Kuru which is the 'low'). examples:


先生は私に教えてくださいました。
The teacher gave me some help (helped me):

友達は私に本を買ってくれました。
My friend baught (and) gave me a book.


If I wanted to say the same sentences but the other way around I would say:



私は先生に教えていただきました。


私は友達に本を買ってもらいました。
